CALL FOR PAPERS

The Editorial Board of the Nigerian Journal of Applied Physics (NJAP) warmly invites the submission of original research papers, review articles, technical reports, and short communications for consideration in forthcoming issues of the journal.
NJAP is an international peer-reviewed journal committed to advancing knowledge across all fields of applied physics. It serves as a platform for researchers to communicate significant experimental and theoretical results with direct relevance to the practice and application of physics in science, technology, and industry.
About the Journal
The Nigerian Journal of Applied Physics (NJAP) is a fully open access peer-reviewed journal published by the Nigerian Institute of Physics (NIP). It is published quarterly, with issues in:

All submissions are screened using Turnitin for originality and subjected to a rigorous single-blind peer review process before any acceptance decision is made.

Submission Information
Manuscripts are accepted on a rolling basis. Volume 2 (2026), Issues 1–4 are currently open for submissions.
All manuscripts must be submitted exclusively through the NJAP online portal. Email submissions are not accepted.

Submission file format: PDF only, generated from Microsoft Word or LaTeX. A LaTeX template is available at https://nipngn.org/templates/njap.zip. Authors may prepare manuscripts in MS Word and convert to PDF for submission.
The following must be included in every submission:
- A list of five suggested reviewers (name, title, institution, and email address)
- Machine-readable citations with DOI for all references — manually entered citations are not acceptable
- Working email addresses and full institutional affiliations for all contributing authors
- All figures, tables, and illustrations embedded within the body text at their point of reference
Manuscript Submission Fee (Non-Refundable): Five Thousand Naira only (₦5,000.00) — payable by all authors at submission.
Article Publication Charge (APC — payable only after acceptance):
- Nigerian authors: Thirty Thousand Naira only (₦30,000.00)
- International / Foreign authors: Thirty USD ($30)

Evidence of payment must be uploaded alongside the manuscript submission through the online portal. The submission fee is non-refundable should the manuscript not be accepted. APC waivers are not available.
